Thekkady, Alleppey and Madurai Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer from Cochin Intl Airport-COK to Alleppey

Arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway station. Meet our Representative and Transfer to Alleppey. Alleppey the "Venice of India" noted for its winding waterways and canals. It is an important commercial and business town, manufacturing and exporting coir products and black pepper. Explore the natural beauty of Kerala, the paddy fields, narrow canals, coir villages etc. Overnight stay at the hotel/Houseboat.

Day 2

Inter Hotel/City Transfer from Alleppey to Thekkady

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations. Visit the Periyar National Park - One of the finest sanctuaries in the country. Key fauna include elephant, tiger, panther, leopard, etc. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Enjoy boating at Periyar Lake Spices are found in abundance in Periyar. Day 3

Inter Hotel/City Transfer from Thekkady to Madurai

Breakfast at the hotel. Post Breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Madurai - Known as Athens of the East. On arrival check-in at the hotel and relax. Later you will visit to Sri Meenakshi Temple and local sightseeing. Back to hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 4

Inter Hotel/City Transfer from Madurai to Rameswaram

Rameswaram is one of the four most sacred Hindu Pilgrim centres. The Sri Ramanathaswamy temple ( of Lord Sree Rama )has magnificent sculptures and spectacular corridors. Overnight stay at the hotel. Note:(Big Vehicle`s (Bus) entry restricted to Rameswaram Town)
